Groups can tour Heifer International's LEED-certified building and Heifer Village, which is home to interactive exhibits for people of all ages. ■ C E N T R A L A R K A N S A S Thirty minutes north of Little Rock, along U.S. Interstate 40, is the growing city of Conway. Here, groups will find a college town with vibrant charm as it's home to the University of Central Arkansas, Central Baptist College and Hendrix College. Conway's growing technol- ogy sector includes one of the nation's largest data centers, and Hewlett-Packard. Groups can find plenty of space for teambuilding and outdoor recreation through the city's 11 parks and two lakes. Shopping and entertainment can be found through art galleries, trendy boutiques, antique stores and eateries. For meetings, the Brewer- Hegeman Conference Center is a state-of-the-art facility located on the University of Central Arkansas campus. The center offers several meeting rooms and can accommodate 500 people in its entirety and 200 people in its largest room. Conway Expo Center of- fers more than 40,000 square feet of meeting space and a capacity of more than 2,700 people. Amenities include large loading docks, a ticket booth, 300 tables and 1,132 chairs, and availability for outside catering. Unique meeting venues include Hole in the Wall Cafè at the Old Gin, a laid- back eatery located in his- toric downtown Conway, and the Centennial Events Center with seating for up to 350 and golf course views. With over 1,200 hotel rooms, Conway offers a vari- ety of limited-service hotels, many of which offer meeting spaces for small groups and are less than five years old.
