The Waco Convention Center has undergone a complete renovation! The total square footage of the convention center after the renovation is now around 144,000 with approximately 21,000 square feet of that being new meeting space. Also included in the $17.5 million renovation are: A balcony/deck on the east side of the building that over- looks the Brazos River, the Historic Suspension Bridge, and Indian Spring Park. All lower level rooms are carpeted and have all new interior finishes and lighting, including added technology access in each meeting room. New lower level entrance and foyer, which has been reconfigured for more break- out meeting rooms, giving groups more flexibil- ity in planning their sessions. Wrap-around addition on the south side of the building which will encase the upper level rooms and provide better access and more pre-function space.
