Blues The National Blues Museum in St. Louis celebrates the influence of blues as the backbone of modern American music. Visitors experi- ence the museum's interactive and artifact exhibits, and a theater that showcas- es blues at its best through musical performances, lectures and films. The muse- um also operates as a space for pri- vate and public events; the Lumière Place Legends Room is available for rental. Art Kansas City is home to one of the top fine art museums in the United States: the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Visitors enjoy free admis- sion to its showcase of multicul- tural art from around the world. Exhibits encompass art from multiple continents and eras, fea- turing African, Japanese, Chinese, European, American, Native American, modern and ancient art and photography, including the famous photograph "Migrant Mother." Truly this is the place to go for those who love art and wish to spend hours appreciating beauty and talent. Baseball & Brews Home to both American and National Major League Baseball teams, "Take me out to the ball game" echoes across the state during both spring training and the regular sea- son. Games, stadium tours and many breweries can be accessed in both Kansas City and St. Louis. The Kansas City Royals Kauffman Stadium Tours pro- vide a behind-the-scenes look the dugout, press box, Crown Club, interview rooms and more. Busch Stadium in St. Louis provides a similar offering.
