When NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling As- sociation) hosted their four-day 2018 Leadership Summit at Meteor Gui- tar Gallery, attendees participated in education sessions inside the venue, explored Bentonville on mountain bikes and returned to Meteor for dinner and a concert each night. The Heartland Summit will bring in 350 attendees from around the country for three days of networking, capped by a concert that will showcase Leon Bridges and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats along with performances by Smokey & the Mirror and Amasa Hines. A VIP section will be reserved for Summit attendees in the outdoor venue at Buckeyball Field. Music Venues: n Record, built in the mid-20th century and featuring original brick ex- terior, offers indoor and outdoor space to host concerts for up to 800 people. n Meteor Guitar Gallery, off the downtown square, offers live music every weekend. Originally opened in 1927 as The Meteor Theater, it can host up to 450 guests for an up-close musical experience. n Bike Rack Brewing Company's 8th Street Market location offers an outdoor stage where local bands entertain crowds of several hundred, while groups of 60 or less can connect with artists in an intimate atmo- sphere as part of their Brew Room Sessions.
