Near The Von Braun Center Located near the Von Braun Center is a new 160-room SpringHill Suites that opened in June 2011 in the mixed-use Constella- tion development. The prop- erty features 5,000 square feet of meeting space, five meeting rooms, including the 2,626-square-foot Redstone room that can seat up to 250, banquet style. Downtown Hotel With Lots Of Space The 270-room Holiday Inn Downtown Huntsville features 11 meeting rooms and The Great Hall at the Huntsville Museum of Art can seat 200 guests. 14,000 square feet of meeting space, plus guest amenities such as microwaves and refrig- erators, according to Director of Sales Patricia Hurston. Be Close To The Space & Rocket Center Located on the grounds of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center is the 290-room Marriott Huntsville with 14 meeting rooms and 13,390 square feet of meeting space, including the 6,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom and prefunc- tion space. Dining options include Seasons Restaurant and Porters Steakhouse, plus full- service amenities such as on-site catering and audio/visual capabilities, Winters said. Additional Options: ■ The 295-room Embassy Suites Huntsville provides a variety of meeting spaces with theater capacity seating for up to 7,800 people. ■ The 210-room Westin Huntsville offers 12,000 square feet of meeting space and is the area's only Four-Star property. The hotel is located in the Bridge Street Town Centre with more than 50 upscale shops, restaurants, retail and entertainment venues. ■ The 200-room Holiday Inn Research Park features 5,800 square feet of meeting space, including the 3,920-square-foot Grand Ballroom. ■ The 148-room Four Points by Sheraton offers 10 meeting rooms and more than 6,000 square feet of meeting space and is close to many attractions such as Redstone Arsenal, Cummings Research Park and local universities. ■ The 164-room Holiday Inn West is located in Madison close to the airport, rocket center and research park.
