"Our annual conference attracts 300 attendees, including 75-plus exhibitor booths. For our small convention, we felt like we were at home in Wilmington. The staff was accommodat- ing, flexible and straightforward throughout the entire process. The response was positive as there is something for everyone to enjoy." "Wilmington, North Carolinaʼs historic river district and the island beaches have evolved into a single destination with many options for groups," said Connie Nelson with the Wilmington and Beaches CVB. "For many opting for smaller, accessible cities with alluring charm, Wilmington is the best bet to deliver attendees a one-of-a- kind experience that wonʼt break the bank," Nelson said. "But more than that, we promise picturesque settings ranging from the downtown riverwalk to the sea. I like to say that our meeting venues are where fresh air meets fresh ideas." www.con v The recently opened Wilm- ington Conven- tion Center sits along the Cape Fear River and is now LEED- Silver Certified.
