I've also driven it to most of the other states in the central regions. It is a real pleasure to pull into a service station (which is pretty often considering the car only gets 12 miles per gal- lon of gas) and have people come up and ask about it and take pictures. Our club is more like a family. A lot of us only see each other once a year, and this is exciting. This year we will celebrate 30 years of a successful club." GEORGE YIN President Yin Hospitality International Las Vegas, NV & Washington, D.C. 11 Years In The Business Finding A Peaceful Place In A Busy City George Yin's firm, Yin Hospitality International, specializes in site selection. During the past year, when he helped arrange a three-day yoga training program for an apparel company in New York City, he was especially challenged to locate a quiet spot, but managed to find just the right kind of place for participants to concentrate. "The room was set high up in a unique space with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked the High Line. This allowed for a very peaceful event in a crazy-busy city," he said. Challenges: "Booking cycles for meetings have become shorter and shorter. We often get requests to research, negotiate contracts, and plan an event in three to four weeks." Solutions: I'm currently working on a proj- ect to create a solution for this!" Rewards: "I love learning about organiza- tions from all of the industries. Our industry is growing exponentially and technology has become a major influence. I just hope we re- member this is the "people" industry. There's a reason we work to protect the fostering of in-person relationship building."
