If you are fortunate to have loyal clients and we have a few, this does make things more manageable as well as predictable for a successful event or meeting. Our services range from "womb to tomb," meaning that we are involved in site selection, contract negotiations, vendor procurement, F&B, A/V and everything else. We prefer to manage the online regis- tration process so that we are certain that we have all the necessary tools in place for the reporting and data that we need for a specific meeting." Solutions: "I do not know that I would call our processes "innovative" to meet the challenges but more "old school" with an all-hands-on-deck approach to everything we do. Certainly, technology has made our processes more efficient, but at the same time we still approach everything we do with sound professional customer service with both our clients and our supplier part- ners. We have also built an inventory of décor that allows us to offer competitively priced décor, centerpieces and other enhancements to get the "WOW" without spending a fortune." Rewards: "When I first got into planning it was for the travel and experiencing new places and this still is an attractive part of the industry. I think at the end of the day I like coming up with the unique; I have been called a "professional scrounger" when it comes to looking for new places, new themes, creative registration desks for first impressions and so on. I feel professional accomplishment and satisfaction when a 15+ year client asks 'what are we going to do next year to top this?' "I am very grateful to love what I do and have wonderful, loyal client partners as well as supplier partners!" ► 'Build a Cake' teambuilding event
