OUTSTANDING RENOVATIONS Here's a look at the ways some of ConventionSouth's New & Renovated Award Winners have updated and re-invigorated their properties. HUTTON HOTEL Nashville, Tennessee An Upgraded Boutique Hotel All 247 guest rooms at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville were renovated during 2017 and now feature custom bedding, granite bath- rooms and rainfall showers. The accom- modations were redone in a palette of gray and bright blue, with splashes of color. New fabrics, bedding, and furniture such as over- stuffed headboards and seating was installed along with modern, multi-patterned wallcov- erings and textured drapes. The renovated hotel lobby now has a more communal atmosphere along with bold new accents and sleek furnishings. The onsite restaurant, WestEnd Kitchen & Bar, features inventive cuisine inspired by traditional Southern cooking and complements the hotel's overall aesthetic. The renovation ex- panded the bar area. The 13,600 square feet of meeting and event space features a striking contemporary design, high-touch service and state-of-the-art technology. HILTON CLEARWATER BEACH RESORT & SPA Clearwater Beach, Florida Impressive Interior Upgrades In June, the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa completed a $20 million renovation, which included all new guest rooms, two new pools, a new restaurant, new spa, new fitness center and a newly opened Starbucks. Ac- cording to General Manager Carlos Sanchez, the 20-month remodel was the most extensive renovation in the nine-story hotel's history,
