Greensboro offers the perfect combination of small town charm and big city appeal. See what's new in Greensboro! You will be surprised by all it has to offer. "What attracts people to the Fort Smith Convention Center is that it's in the downtown area where many of our historic sites are located," said Amy Jones, convention and event sales manager for the Fort Smith CVB. "We are right on the river, and everything is within walking distance." The center is connected to the new Doubletree by Hilton Fort Smith City Center and in the same parking lot is the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Smith Down- town, allowing attendees easy access to everything, all in one place. Known as "America's original gateway to the Wild West," Fort Smith celebrates its frontier history with sites like Miss Laura's Visitors Center, a former Old West bordello, and the Fort Smith National Historic Site. Attendees can take the trolley to all the sites and immerse themselves in the Old West history as well as enjoy the plethora of art celebrated in the city. "We have mural artwork located all throughout the downtown area. Artists from around the world have created these murals, showcasing their representation of Fort Smith," said Jones. n Meetings In The Wild West The Fort Smith Convention Center, Fort Smith, Arkansas The mural Badlands by D*FACE created during Fort Smith's inaugural Unexpected Project in 2015.
