Selected as one of the "50 Best Places to Travel in 2018" by Travel + Leisure and named to National Geographic Traveler's "2018 Best of the World" list, San Antonio's family attractions include Morgan's Inspiration Island, the world's first ultra-accessible splash park, which opened June 2017. Located next to the splash park, Morgan's Wonderland features five tropically-themed splash pads, the River Boat Adventure ride and support facilities such as the Wheelchair Valet, where guests can transfer out of their battery-powered wheelchairs into waterproof wheelchairs for maximum aquatic fun. There are also new attractions and events at SeaWorld & Aquatica, including a Sesame Street parade, a waters- lide, a summer celebration, and a beer festival. Sea Life Aquarium & LEGOLAND Discovery Center, two premier family attractions, are scheduled to open this year in the Shops at Rivercenter. Sea Life is the world's biggest aquarium brand and highlights spectacular displays of diverse marine life. LEGOLAND Discovery Center, the ultimate indoor LEGO® playground, will offer a range of themed LEGO play areas, creative workshops with LEGO Master Model Builders, LEGO-themed rides, party rooms for birthdays and other celebrations, and the popular MINILAND exhibit which will reflect the buildings and skyline of San Antonio. Additionally, Six Flags Fiesta Texas will premiere the world's first single-rail coaster later this year, as the park completes its DC Super Hero Trilogy of Rides with the first-ever Wonder Woman-themed coaster. Big Cedar Lodge, Ridgedale, Missouri Families that travel to Big Cedar Lodge, located in the Ozark Mountains, can escape to another world. The resort, which features a 10,000-acre nature park, 100-slip marina and three championship golf courses, has 250 guest rooms and 20,000 square feet of meeting space. A tribute to the magnificence of nature, the solidarity of history and the joy of family, Big Cedar Lodge's recreational facilities include the Top of the Rock outdoor destination, the Bass Pro Shops headquarters in nearby Springfield, Dogwood Canyon Nature Park and the all-new Bass Pro Shops' Outdoor Shooting Academy. For the younger ones, Big Cedar Kids' Adventure Club offers outdoor fun for children ages 4 – 12. Addi- tionally, there are creative themed interactive activities like archery and Native American History Explo- ration. Guests can enjoy welcome bonfires, dive-in movies and the Kid's Fishing Bonanza. Additionally, Big Cedar's 50,000-square-foot Fun Mountain offers underwater themed bowling, laser tag, the Flip Zone and Spin Zone bumper cars, an arcade and golf simulator.
