The city continues to experience growth and new developments, particularly around its famous harbors and other waterside locales. One example of new lodging, the 150-room Delta Hotels by Marriott at Inner Harbor Baltimore, opened in January. Other larger, upscale hotels in the Inner Harbor area include the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore, the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Embassy Suites Baltimore – Inner Harbor, which is adjacent to The Grand, one of the largest and most distinctive facilities in the state for both social functions and group meetings. Sagamore Spirit Distillery opened last year in Port Covington, one of five major mixed-use development projects currently underway in Bal- timore. Port Covington is south of the Inner ► Baltimore skyline
